Bbq Grilled Chicken Livers
1 lb chicken livers same as above.
Bbq grilled chicken livers. When done serve them on the skewer with the flat leaf parsley or rosemary for garnish and drizzle the second bowl of warm sherry and oil over the top. Remove from grill sprinkle with sea salt and freshly ground black pepper. Heat up a grill and grease the elements. Add salt and pepper and grill about 4 minutes on each side until the liver.
Divide the livers equally among the 4 skewers then brush them with the oil and season them generously with salt and pepper. Place the cast iron skillet on the grill and cook for 25 minutes. Turn the livers over several times on both sides to cook them well. Directions wash the livers drain and put in a bowl.
Heat up a grill and grease the elements. Cook 3 4 minutes on each side. Put every two pieces of liver on two bamboo skewers and lay them over the hot grill. Turn them every 2 3 minutes until caramelized.
Bamboo skewers pre soaked in water for 1 hour from both sides. Don t worry about adding any oils as the bacon fat will aid in the grilling. 1 lb chicken hearts best bought from your local farmer organic and free range. Directions spray grill with non stick cooking spray.
Place livers on hot grill being careful not to let any slide through. Add enough carbonated beverage to cover the liver and marinate about half an hour. Mix the livers with 3 1 3 tbsp 50 ml of oil or olive oil and the spices to taste. Heat grill to medium high heat.
Grill barbecue the livers turning once until well browned and cooked through 2 to 3 minutes per side. Light the grill barbecue and let the coals or wood get very hot if using a gas grill heat to at least 600ºf 315ºc.
